This vegetarian-friendly no-chicken bouillon powder is really great in a pinch. It’s shelf-stable so you can make a big batch if you want to and it dissolves almost instantly into hot water.
It’s extremely easy to make and you don’t need a lot of it to turn it into a broth. Just a teaspoon or two dissolved in one cup of hot water creates a comforting no-chicken broth. You could also use it as a multi-purpose savory seasoning.

Can this be used in a recipe that calls for Better than Bouillon paste but not to make a broth? Would there be a conversion?
Hi Mandy, I believe the substitution should work just fine! You may just need to add more salt as Better than Bouillon paste is definitely saltier. For each teaspoon of Better than Bouillon, I would use 1 tablespoon of my no chicken powder.
