I think we can all agree that sometimes a vegan chicken broth is necessary. Problem is, I haven’t been able to find my usual bouillon paste since I moved. Have you had the Better than Bouillon brand? They have a vegan chicken bouillon paste and it’s great but like I said, I haven’t been able to find it here and it is sodium heavy. I’ve tried making my own broth with vegetable scraps before but I use it so often that I can’t keep up with the demand. This vegan no chicken bouillon powder has been my savior and I’m so happy to share it with you.
Low in sodium, no sugar added, extremely easy to make and it’s so versatile! You could use this no chicken bouillon powder to season virtually anything. I used this to season chicken style seitan once and it tasted unreal. Just a teaspoon or two dissolved in one cup of hot water creates a comforting no chicken broth. It can’t get better than this. Oh wait, yes it can. It’s gluten free, dairy free, nut free, soy free, oil free and VEGAN of course!
