Easy Homemade Garlic Bread
Fresh warm garlic bread with crispy edges, a soft buttery center, and a garlicky herb topping. A great side for any meal, and not just with pasta!
- 1 12-inch loaf of crusty bread
- 1/4 cup softened butter (1/2 stick)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, loosely packed and minced
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Slice the bread loaf in half lengthwise.
In a small bowl, add the softened butter, minced garlic, and minced parsley. Stir together to combine.
Spread the butter mixture over both halves of the bread and then set them on a broiler-safe baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes.
After baking for 10 minutes, switch the oven to broil (Mine was set to 525°F) and broil for about 3 minutes or until the top edges of the bread become toasty brown. Keep an eye on it while it broils so it doesn't burn!
